How to engage new hires?

Hi friends!

We currently send out an email to our new hires about three days after they onboard but I fear those emails get lost in the craziness of the onboarding experience. We are considering sending out an email every 30/60/90 days that the team member is with us. What does your company do to engage new hires in your recogntion program(s)?
