Just wanted to share a program that we started last year that our team members really enjoy.
The week before Thanksgiving do a non monetary recognition program called Thankful Week. For 5 days we release a new Thankful Week program with it's own prompt. Team members have from 11/17 - 11/23 to submit recognitions to their co workers. At the end of the program team members that submitted at least 1 recognition per day gets entered into a property drawing for a chance to win $5 in AwardCo points. We send out bulk emails releasing each prompt via AwardCo.
In 2024 for the week that the program was available just about 40% of the recognitions were solely from the Thankful Week program.
Prompts we use:

- Prompt: Recognize your work bestie - What do they do to make your workday better?
- Thankful Week - Day 2
- Start 11/18
- Prompt: Recognize an unsung hero at work. Think of a team member that is vital to your shift but might not get all the recognition they deserve.
- Thankful Week - Day 3
- Start 11/19
- Prompt: Recognize a team member in a different department. What have they done to make a difference in your day?
- Thankful Week - Day 4
- Start 11/20
- Prompt: Team members VS Managers - Team members shout out to a manager on why you are thankful for them, Managers shout out to a team member on why you are thankful for them.
- Thankful Week - Day 5
- Start 11/21
- Prompt: Recognize your mentor or someone who has provided mentorship in any capacity.
