Want to ensure recognition approvals never get held up when someone's out of office? Enable your users to assign delegates! This feature allows designated individuals to step in and approve recognitions, ensuring smooth operations and timely appreciation for your team.
What it Does:
The Delegates feature empowers users to grant another individual temporary access to their Awardco account. This delegate can then perform actions on their behalf, such as sending recognitions, approving nominations, and redeeming points. It's a game-changer for administrators or anyone with time-sensitive tasks who may be busy, on vacation, or otherwise unavailable.
Quick Steps to Enable and Utilize Delegates:
For Admins: Turn on the Delegate Setting
First, an admin needs to enable the Delegates feature for your platform:
- Log in to your Awardco platform.
- Navigate to the admin portal then select Advanced Settings.
- Scroll down to the Account Settings section and find the Delegates toggle.
- Toggle this setting On to allow users to set delegates.
For Users: Assigning a Delegate
Once the feature is enabled by an admin, users can assign delegates:
- Log in to your Awardco account.
- Click on your profile picture and select My Profile (if on Awardco 2.0.)
- Click My Account (if on the legacy platform)
- Click on Settings (if on Awardco 2.0.)
